How many posters are they gonna do for this thing?

Hurray for Sheldon Moldoff!

Comics historian Mark Evanier pays tribute to the great Golden Age artist, who turns 85 today!

Moldoff drew tons of "Batman" stories credited to Bob Kane. He also did the cover for the first issue of the Golden Age "Flash" title.

Here's a portrait of the 1950s-era Batman Family, credited to Bob Kane, but actually by Moldoff:

Talkin' Nancy Drew graphic novels

Stefan Petrucha, writer for the new "Nancy Drew" comics series from Papercutz (there's a "Hardy Boys" one, too) talks about the new, manga-influenced take on the venerable girl detective character.

"Look at Veronica Mars and Kim Possible -- their origins are clearly Nancy Drew. My goal was to keep up the Drew mystique in a fast-paced comic book format...You'll have all the drama, the suspense, locations and lots of visual moments."

The series is published both in regular comic format and in multi-issue manga-style collections.

There are two collected volumes out so far: "The Demon of River Heights," and "Writ in Stone."

Extras revealed for "Lois and Clark" DVD set
