The T.A.M.I. Show coming on DVD from Shout! Factory

The T.A.M.I. Show, a 1964 concert film featuring performances by The Rollings Stones, The Supremes, The Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, Gerry and the Pacemakers, Marvin Gaye, Chuck Berry and a host of others will be out on DVD from Shout! Factory March 23.

Here's the skinny:

The 1964 feature film The T.A.M.I. Show, filmed a mere seven months after The Beatles appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show, introduced the Swinging ’60s to America, is the first concert movie of the rock era, capturing such superstars as the Rolling Stones, James Brown, Chuck Berry, the Beach Boys, Marvin Gaye, and many other Motown and British Invasion acts in their early prime. This legendary film has never been available on home video and hasn’t been seen in its full-length version since its initial theatrical run. This special set is what music fans have been waiting for: the ultimate collector’s edition of this long-unavailable landmark film.
