Kate Bush - And Dream of Sheep (Live) - Official Video

Details:

This is a special piece of film to accompany the release of the live single ‘And Dream Of Sheep’. The vocal was performed live while filming Kate lying in the huge water tank at Pinewood Studios. This was to create a sense of realism, as the character in the song is lost at sea. However it became more realistic than Kate had imagined. She spent so long in the water during the first day of filming that she contracted mild hypothermia. She recovered after a day off and carried on filming. Everyone agreed it had added to the authenticity of the performance. This film was then projected onto a large oval screen which hung above the stage during the performances of her live show.

Release of Kate Bush 2014 live shows on the way

A live album from Kate Bush's series of performances at  London's Hammersmith Apollo in 2014 is set for release Nov. 25.

Before the Dawn will be available as a 3-CD or 4-LP set and includes career highlight songs along with complete performance of long-form pieces "The Ninth Wave," which comprised the second side of her Hounds of Love album, and "Sea of Honey," which took up the second CD of her Aerial album.

The collection also features Bush's son, Bertie, singing the previously unreleased song "Tawny Moon" and a rare version of her song "Never Be Mine." No studio polishing or overdubs have been made to the album, which is credited to the K Fellowship, Bush's band for the concerts.

The London shows marked Bush's first public performances since 1979 and sold out within minutes.

Elton John and Stephen Fry to guest on upcoming Kate Bush album

Actor Stephen Fry and Elton John will both contribute guest vocals to Kate Bush's upcoming album 50 Words for Snow, the Guardian reports.
Fry probably doesn't sing on 50 Words for Snow. But it's confirmed that he appears on the title track. "Just done a lovely amazing recording thing with a lively amazing musician," he wrote last month, remaining secretive. Eventually he fessed up: "Can now reveal it was this with the divine Kate Bush."

Kate Bush plans reissues, possibly new music in 2011

Kate Bush is a fascinating but far from prolific recording artist, so any news about releases, old or new, is pretty rare. In this case, there's confirmation that four of her albums -- The Dreaming, Hounds Of Love, The Sensual World and The Red Shoes, all originally released between 1982 and 1993 -- will be out later this year. No specific details on bonus tracks (if any) or release dates. There's also been talk lately about Kate releasing some new music this year, but:

“There are other plans but I’m not able to talk about them right now,” is all Munns would say, adding, “There’s nothing ready until Kate says it’s ready. That’s always been the way.”
